Nicole Richie’s fashion resume continues to expand.
The reality TV star is expanding her apparel and accessories empire to the television shopping network with a QVC fashion line, reports Usmagazine.com.
The collection will reportedly launch in February, to coincide with the premiere of the NBC reality show “Fashion Star,” where Richie serves as a mentor for competing designers.
“The line is cute – it can be worn by teeny-tiny girls but also goes up to size XXXL,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Nicole has a great fashion sense, and she’s very hands-on.”
The 30-year-old designer was recently named “Influencer of the Year” at the Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards for her House of Harlow 1960 line.
Her other fashion endeavors include a maternity collection called “Nicole” and a line of women’s apparel dubbed Winter Kate,
Still, she says she’s not growing her brand just for the sake of raking in the dough.
“With everything I do, I want to make sure that I take the time and make each category the best that it can be,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “I tend to move very slowly and I do that on purpose so that I can make sure that everything that I design really is the best version of what it is.”
She describes her customer as a “multitasker, a woman who wears many hats, someone who isn’t afraid to take risks and have fun with fashion.”
