In this video, Dr. Boyce Watkins speaks with Juan Gilbert from Clemson University. Dr. Gilbert is a noted Computer Scientist and has serious concerns about CNN’s Black in America 4. Were Black technologists properly represented on the show? Gilbert doesn’t think so.

I don’t know why black people give this “Black in America” series any credibility. It’s produced by whites and have a non black person Soledad O’Brien claiming to be black hosting it. See it for what it is and move on.

Yes, CNN is propaganda. The ‘Black in America’ series is no more than a continued ploy to put the Black community on blast for negativity and lack of self-determination. It is never solution-based. It is always problem-oriented.
