Jurnee Smollett To Star In Tyler Perry’s New Movie the “Marriage Counselor”
It just seems like we can’t get enough of the lovely Jurnee Smollett. Well, you’re going to get more of her from the next Tyler Perry film, “The Marriage Counselor.”
This is the third film that Perry has shot this year. Two others are also coming out, “Good Deeds,” and “I, Alex Cross.” Perry is the star in both of these films.
The Smollett film is a collab with Lionsgate and an adaptation of one of his plays with the same name. You have to wonder if Madea is going to show up in this one or not, but we wouldn’t be surprised.
Smollett will be playing Judith, a woman who just got married and also happens to be a marriage counselor. She gives great advice to other people, but can’t manage her own marriage.
Looks like Tyler has three more hits in the making. The man just can’t be stopped.
I am so looking forward to Jurnee playing this role; or any other role, this young lady is one of the best actresses in the business, what has taken so long for her to be recognized. I am glad Tyler is the one to who will make her shine. I have been a fan since way back, when she did a sitcom with her siblings; who are all very good actors. Can’t wait to see this movie.

From time to time, people have said mean things about Tyler Perry, but he just keeps on creating, making money and providing jobs for Black people. He’s very smart with his money, too. He seems to plow a great deal of it back into his movies, and he maintains control. Way to go, Mr. Perry!
